"Camilla Olson, a Peninsula womenswear designer who emphasizes local production, is “flipping” her business model and plans to launch a website to help women find stylish work-appropriate clothing. “Clothing makes a big impact on how we are perceived by others, how we perceive ourselves, and the quality of work. ... ‘Fearlessly Confident’ is the go-to resource supporting women to express confidence by knowing and showing who you are and whom you want to be,” Olson said via e-mail. The site, www.FearlesslyConfident.com, was developed with Giovanna Baffico with Anna Ranieri contributing executive coaching advice. “We offer tools and products to educate and integrate personalized wardrobe selection and styling to advance women’s goals and objectives.” A graduate of the Academy of Art University, Olson started her fashion business in 2011. Her self-named line has been carried at Bay Area boutiques, featured at the Four Seasons Palo Alto and worn on the red carpet by Betsy Franco (mother of James). Looks designed for presidential candidate Hillary Clinton were featured in the Oct. 11 Style section. Olson’s current collection is on sale at www.camillaolson.com."
